SPJ and the Facebook Journalism Project are seeking talented and digitally savvy journalists, freelancers and educators who can travel to U.S. newsrooms, universities and conferences to train journalists on Facebook products and tools. These are paid opportunities and highly competitive.
At this time, we are looking for individuals based in the Northeast U.S. (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania), individuals with a lot of flexibility to travel OR individuals who are fluent Spanish speakers.

Successful applicants will be people who:
- Are willing and able to travel at least twice a month
- Work or have recently worked as a journalist or a journalism educator
- Have experience giving presentations to large groups of people
- Use Facebook to gather information and/or promote content, or have a deep understanding of those processes
- Can commit to serving as a trainer for at least one year
- Are SPJ members, or are willing to join if selected
- Are able to attend a training August 15-16 in NYC
