Many talented journalists have asked SPJ for more time to prepare their entries for Ohio’s Best Journalism Contest. We are happy to say the answer is YES. The original March 3 deadline has been extended to midnight Monday, April 7. Entries are for work completed in 2024. The contest honors the best of Ohio’s print, broadcast, digital media, freelance, trade and college journalism. For more information, click on the links below:
The statewide contest is a joint effort of SPJ chapters in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati. The contest administrator is Sarah Mills Bacha. An awards luncheon will be held on a Saturday in late August. Note that all websites and links for digital submissions must remain active throughout 2025. |
