EIJ16 Pre-Registration Ends on August 29


Excellence in Journalism 2016 (#EIJ16), produced by the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA), the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA) runs September 18-20, 2016 in New Orleans, Louisiana, featuring cutting-edge industry training sessions to build your knowledge and advance your career, with more being added every week at http://excellenceinjournalism.org/

PRE-REGISTRATION RATE ENDS IN ONE WEEK

Pre-registration ends Monday, August 29. After that, you can only register for the at-the-door price. To save a hundred dollars, register now for the premier gathering for news directors, producers, reporters, J-students and digital journalists. RTDNA members receive a registration discount, so don't forget to renew your membership. And the deadline to book your hotel at the conference rate is also August 29. After that, there are no guarantees a room will be available, and you'll pay full price.

EIJ16 presents a Super Session Q and A with Washington Post Executive Editor Marty Baron, who led the team that inspired the Academy Award winning film 'Spotlight.' As then-editor of The Boston Globe, Baron's team won a Pulitzer Prize for its investigation of abuses by Catholic priests. 'Spotlight' was honored with the 2016 Oscars for Best Picture and Best Screenplay.
