NKU seeks instructors for News Writing and Photojournalism courses
Northern Kentucky University’s Department of Communication is looking for an instructor(s) to teach one section of JOU 220 (News Writing) and one section of JOU 325 (Photojournalism), for the Fall 2017 Semester, which begins Aug. 21.

In the JOU 220 News Writing course, students write news stories that engage various audiences. In addition, they practice interviewing and reporting and develop a sense of news values. This course meets from 2-3:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

The JOU 325, Photojournalism course, explores the fundamentals of photography, use of digital cameras, photo editing, and use of photography in a variety of media to tell stories. The class meets from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Fridays. We are looking for instructors to teach one or both of the available courses. A master's degree in a closely related area is required. Please send a letter, resume, and a list of references to Michele Day at daymi@nku.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!
