Bonnie Jean Feldkamp has worked as a freelance writer since 2001 publishing service journalism articles, personal essays and op-eds. She received “Best Overall Blog” in the Digital Media Category of the Ohio 2017 Society of Professional Journalists Awards and was a 2018 finalist in the Cincinnati Chapter of SPJ’s Excellence in Journalism Awards. Feldkamp was named Gold winner by Parent Media Association in 2018 for General Feature Writing on parenting issues. Feldkamp contributes to the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Education and Family Roundtable. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, Scary Mommy, USAToday and Medium as well as regional parenting publications. Feldkamp is the Communications Director for the National Society of Newspaper Columnists, is a member of Parent Media Association, Journalism and Women Symposium and the Society of Professional Journalists. She is a wife and mother of three from Northern Kentucky.
Bill Ferguson Jr. is a writer/editor/communication
consultant with more than 40 years as an editor and reporter for six newspapers
and USA Today Update, beginning at age 14 as a sports reporter for his hometown
daily. He moved in 1988 to Cincinnati, where he worked as copy editor, national
editor, business editor and Page One editor at The Cincinnati Enquirer. Ferguson is
a southeast Ohio native and an Ohio University graduate.
