The RFK Book and Journalism Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 4, at 4:00 pm ET and it is being offered as a free, public virtual event for the first time.
The awards honor the most extraordinary acts of journalism from the past year, highlighting issues that were of concern to Bobby Kennedy, namely human rights, social justice, and the power of individual action. We've lined up several special guest presenters to help us mark the occasion -- including Katie Couric, Don Lemon, Soledad O'Brien, David Remnick, and Natalie Morales, just to name a few -- and hope you'll tune in and encourage others to join us as we celebrate our vibrant, fearless, free press.
