It is that time of year again when we partner with the Greater Cincinnati Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and several local law enforcement agencies to offer the SPJ/CPD Media Seminar. This is the fifth year we have offered this opportunity and we have made great strides in building relationships and sharing best practices through this effort.
As in the previous years, we will walk through some useful tools for you in researching crime incidents and submitting public records requests. We will also introduce participants to local law enforcement agency Public Information Officers and points of contact for media requests.
Please take the time to share this information with your colleagues and encourage them to attend, especially if they are new to the region. We will once again offer two identical sessions for the early and late side folks (only register for one of the sessions). Use the link to register for the session that best suits your schedule.

While we will have plenty of space to social distance at the Police Academy, we will also offer these sessions over Zoom. The zoom link will be sent out to participants the day of the training.
