SPJ Pro Chapter of the Year finalists announced

INDIANAPOLIS — The Society of Professional Journalists annually selects chapters to honor for their commitment to the organization’s mission and journalism overall. Winners of Large Chapter of the Year and Small Chapter of the Year will be announced during the closing ceremony of the SPJ2020 Journalism Conference.
Large Chapter of the Year is open to chapters with 75 or more members, while Small Chapter of the Year is open to chapters with fewer than 75 members.
This year’s finalists are:
Large Chapter of the Year
Three finalists for Large Chapter of the Year: Chicago Headline Club, Florida Pro and New Jersey Pro.
Small Chapter of the Year
Two finalists for Small Chapter of the Year: Cincinnati Pro and Arkansas Pro.
There was a three-way tie between The Press Club of Long Island, Chicago Headline Club and Florida Pro for 2019 Professional Large Chapter of the Year. Arkansas Pro was named 2019 Professional Small Chapter of the Year. Read more about the selection process and past winners here.
