Virtual Awards Ceremony 2021
JUNE 10, 2021 – 7 P.M.
The Greater Cincinnati SPJ Pro Chapter will again go high-tech for the Excellence In Journalism Contest awards.
Due to continued concerns surrounding the pandemic, the 2021 winners and finalists will be announced during a live virtual gathering on Zoom.
Join us to honor those who are being recognized for their fantastic work in 2020.
We look forward to honoring this year's winners and finalists.
As part of this year's awards presentation, we'll hear from special guests who will talk about "What Does the Community Expect from Journalists Today?" The Covid-19 pandemic, issues such as the Cincinnati City Hall corruption, the 2020 election and the George Floyd case have certainly had an impact on all of us, locally and as a nation.
We will be joined via video by John Shertzer, executive director, Society of Professional Journalists; Kevin Aldridge, opinion editor, Cincinnati Enquirer; Jenell Walton, vice president of content, Cincinnati Public Radio; Jack Greiner, managing partner at Graydon Law and Cincinnati SPJ board member and more, who will share thoughtful messages with attendees.
