Ohio’s Best Journalism – 2022

Judging Under Way
Contest Celebration Aug. 27

Honoring the Best of Ohio’s Print, Broadcast, Digital Media, Freelance, Trade and College Journalism

We wanted to give you a quick 2022 Ohio’s Best Journalism contest update. We are excited to report that judging is under way. Our judging partners in the national SPJ judging swap are from the Long Island Press Club. Our Ohio journalists judged their contest earlier this year.

Another highlight: We received 470 submissions! Thanks to everyone for supporting our contest and for your patience as we completed the submission process.

We hope to announce the winners July and celebrate in-person in late August. The Central Ohio Pro Chapter in Columbus is hosting this year. Save the date for Saturday, August 27, around noon. Please watch your inbox for more details in the coming weeks.

Thanks so much for your support of our contest.  If you have any questions, please email our contest administrator, Sarah Mills Bacha, at contact@ohiospjawards.org.

We look forward to announcing winners and celebrating with everyone later this summer!
