SPJ announces finalists for Pro Chapter of the Year

INDIANAPOLIS – The Society of Professional Journalists annually honors select chapters for their commitment to SPJ’s mission and journalism. SPJ has named the finalists for its Pro Chapter of the Year Awards.
Large Chapter of the Year is open to chapters with 75 members or more, while Small Chapter of the Year is open to chapters with fewer than 75 members.
The three finalists for the Large Chapter of the Year award are the San Diego Pro Chapter, the New York Deadline Club and the Press Club of Long Island.
The three finalists for the Small Chapter of the Year award are SPJ Georgia, the Utah Headliners Chapter and the Greater Cincinnati Pro Chapter.
Winners of Large Chapter of the Year and Small Chapter of the Year will be announced during the Opening Business Meeting at MediaFest22, SPJ’s annual convention, in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 27.
